Elderflower Tea

Winter is the time where you have to friend with Vitamin C and all sort of antioxidants to keep you healthy through the cold weather, so here I have the perfect tea that will protect you from common colds or flu, or will help you to feel better if you are sick. Elderflower acts as anti-flammatory, antiviral and even fever, but also can be diuretic and a laxative if use very often. Now ginger helps as also anti-flammatory and soothes pain. Lemon is well known for high concentration of Vitamin C and honey well will help your throat and sweet your tea. Elderflower can be found in whole foods or organic shops or you can find it already in tea.

"For a relaxing tea replace the ginger for 1/4 of vanilla pod"


Elderflower (dry)
1 tbsp of honey or 1 tsp of Vanilla Sugar
a bit of ginger
1 lemon peel
few drops of lemon juice
500 ml of water

Let it infuse from 2 to 5 minutes in a tea pot, strain and the most important, enjoy!
